1. Introduction
The Reduxi Gateway is an extension unit of the Reduxi system that enables the conversion of RS485 serial signals to the TCP/IP internet protocol. It is intended for use in cases where the number of serial inputs (1x RS485) on the Reduxi Controller is insufficient for the user’s needs regarding the connection of devices to RS485 ports. It also serves as an auxiliary device in situations where the distance between the device and the Reduxi Controller is too great for a direct cable connection to the RS485 ports.
The Reduxi Gateway is also used in cases where two relay outputs are required for device regulation, such as managing a heat pump via SmartGrid Ready (SG Ready) functionality.
Additionally, the Reduxi Gateway can serve as a measurement device for monitoring electrical currents. In this case, current clamps are connected to the current inputs of the Reduxi Gateway, enabling power data acquisition. The voltage data is then obtained directly from the Reduxi Controller.
2. Installation connection information
- Connect the AC-DC adapter to the Reduxi Gateway and then plug the adapter into the power outlet. The first LED light from the top should start to glow green.
- Use Reduxi mobile app to configure the gateway
- Alternatively, you can configure the gateway by following the steps below
- Go to the network settings of your WiFi networks on your mobile device or computer and connect to the Gateway device access point.

- If a pop-up window does not appear automatically, open a browser and go to http://gateway.local.
- Use the username “admin” and the password “admin” to log in.
- Set up the wired or wireless network and connect the Reduxi to your local network (it is recommended to set a static IP address).
- Click “save” and now connect your mobile phone or computer to the same wired or wireless local network that you previously connected the Reduxi Gateway to.
- The Reduxi controller should already be connected to the local internet network (Reduxi Controller).
- When connecting the current clams the following order applies
- L1: Red
- L2: Green
- L3: Yellow
- Follow the next sections regarding the connection of relay outputs and the installation of current sensors.

3.3. Connection pinouts

3.3.2. Reset button
With the following procedure, you can reset Reduxi Gateway to factory default:
Press the needle and do not let go (continues pressing).
Continue pressing the reset needle for more than 7 seconds until all LED lights turn on.
When the LED lights turn on, release the button.
Wait 30 seconds for Reduxi Gateway to reset everything to factory settings.

4. General instructions for use

- Relocation: Disconnect the product from the power supply before moving it.
- Labels: Keep all original labels intact and do not remove them from the product.
- Heat Sources: Avoid installing the product near heat sources such as radiators, heaters, or other appliances that generate heat.
- Power Cable: Install the power cable securely and ensure it is not a tripping hazard or exposed to potential damage from objects that could pinch or twist it.
- Accessories: Use only accessories or additional equipment recommended by the manufacturer.
- Unplugging: Disconnect the product from the power source during electrical storms or if it will not be used for an extended period.
