REDUXI CONTROLLER
User Manual
Version V2.0 11.2024
1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the world of Reduxi which allows you to take control of energy costs and efficient use of electricity for sustainable development. Main features:
- PEAK POWER MANAGEMENT,
- SOLAR POWER PLANT PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT,
- OPTIMISATION OF ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTION.
Energy costs in your household or industry can only be reduced by accurate measurement. For doing so, you need the right technology. Based on advanced algorithms, the innovative system Reduxi measures and analyses electricity consumption for you. With its advanced features, Reduxi reduces consumption costs and increases energy efficiency.
Reduxi controller
Reduxi Controller is the main component of Reduxi system. The controller connects solar power plants, energy storage systems, heat pumps, and electric chargers to the Reduxi System. It manages electricity production and consumption, adjusts power usage from the grid, and uses advanced algorithms to ensure cost-effective energy use and maximum self-sufficiency.
Reduxi Controller is the key and mandatory component of every Reduxi system.
Every Reduxi Controller comes with built-in Configurator software, you will recognize it background and a simple-to-use interface.
2. INSTALLATION AND CONNECTION INFORMATION
- Connect AC-DC adapter to the Reduxi DC jack and plug it to power outlet; First top LED should go ON – Green light.
- Go to WiFi networks using your phone or computer, and connect to the WiFi network with name "Reduxi XYXY" where XYXY presents the last 4 digits of Reduxi serial number visible on the sticker at the back of Reduxi.
- Open your browser, and go to the http://reduxi.local
- Troubleshooting steps:
- If you’re using a mobile phone and cannot open http://reduxi.local, disconnect from mobile data and try to reconnect
- Troubleshooting steps:
- Configure a wired or wireless network, and connect Reduxi to your local network (we recommend setting the static IP address of Reduxi).
- Configure a wired network if you use an Ethernet cable to connect Reduxi to your local network.
- Configure a wireless network if you use a WiFi network to connect Reduxi to your local network.
-
- Troubleshooting steps:
- In case you mistype the WiFi password, you will need to run factory reset of the controller (see below)
- In Windows, your computer often loses the WiFi connection with the Reduxi controller and automatically connects back to your home network. Please check regularly if you’re still connected to the Reduxi network and if not, please reconnect.
- Troubleshooting steps:
- After everything is configured, click Save to connect Reduxi controller to your home network. Now connect with your mobile phone or computer to the same wired or WiFi local network that you have just connected to with Reduxi.
- Open your browser, and go to http://reduxi.local
- Troubleshooting steps:
- Double-check if the Reduxi controller is connected to the same local network as your computer/phone used to access to it.
- In case you cannot open http://reduxi.local, you can try by opening the IP address that you have configured or was automatically assigned for Reduxi. The IP address can be obtained by following this steps How to find automatically assigned IP address (DHCP protocol) of Reduxi controller?
- Troubleshooting steps:
- You will get to the login page of Reduxi controller. Please use the default username (admin), and password (admin) to login.
- Now you can start adding devices (smart energy meter, charging stations, solar inverters etc.) to Reduxi. See Reduxi Configurator. If you cannot find the device, write us a request via Send us request with a detailed description of the device. We will reach out to you and help supporting the new device
- Add strategies to define how the devices should work together to save costs, balance energy consumption etc. Stratagies for Reduxi controller
- Done, you have successfully connected and configured Reduxi solution. You can now get online for the best user experience, to control your home energy management, access to analytical data etc. Everything from web or mobile app, just create an account in Reduxi Cloud Reduxi Cloud
Reduxi Cloud
Reduxi Cloud is an online web and mobile application. It provides effortless real-time monitoring, analytical data and control of your Reduxi local solution. Reduxi Cloud brings user experience to the highest level.
To access the Reduxi cloud benefits, create an account on https://app.reduxi.eu
- After creating a new account and set a password, you will be asked to add a new Reduxi controller. You will define a name, and then register your Reduxi Controller using either QR code on the back of Reduxi or by writing Reduxi serial number which can be found left of the QR codes.
- By that, you have linked your Reduxi Controller to the Reduxi Could application.
- You are now fully onboarded to manage your energy consumption and start saving costs.
