General configuration
| Name | Name of the device which will be shown in the application. |
| Type | Type of the device which influences which other fields are shown. |
| Category – Battery, Car, Grid, Heat Pump, Other, Solar Power Plant | Does not affect how the device works as it is used only to group devices and how the device is shown in the application. |
| Location | Location defines the role and position of the device. |
| Energy direction | Defines the type of energy. |
