1. Physical connection
Please connect RS485 to module CM-v-3. The module's identification differs based on the optional add-on that energy meter support (RS485, CS, GSM-GPRS, UMTS(3G), MODBUS TCP/IP Current loop, ETHERNET).
#1 First option - connect the PINS on the optional card
Please connects the PINS of the optional card - settings of energy meter Iskraemeco - Channel 3
27: A
29: B
28: GND
#2 Second option - connect the PINS directly on the energy meter - settings of energy meter Iskraemeco - Channel 1
We got information from Elektro Ljubljana that this port is always active and does not require additional configuration.
Connect Iskraemecto MT880 to RS485
Reduxi -> Iskra MT880
PIN A -> PIN 27
PIN B -> PIN 29
PIN GND -> PIN 28
2. Get the Serial Number of the energy meter
The serial number can be read from the energy meter. Please take a look at the picture below. The red square shows the last four digits of the serial. Another part of the serial is hidden due to security reasons. In your case, please read the whole serial from the energy meter.
3. Get the
The address is the last two numbers of the energy meter of the serial number.
For example, above, the serial number above is 59.
If this address does not work, we must add 16 to the serial number. For example: 59 + 16 = 75
Explanation of the process and another example:
4. Add the device to Reduxi Configurator
First, you can log in to Reduxi Configurator usingReduxi Configurator via the browser.
1. Click Add Device
2. Enter Basic Settings
3. Select Communication Channel
4. Enter Device Configuration
Serial number = read it from the Iskraemeco energy meter
Physical device address: please see above
Logical device ID = 1 (default)
Client address = 1 (default)
Password = please ask your utility provider for password
External CT ratio = ratio of the currents - if you have 250A/5A, the result is 50
External VT ratio = high voltage ratio. Only in case the counter is at medium voltage instead at 230V
5. Enter and choose Advance settings
