1. How to connect and configure
Please find instructions on a manufacturer's web page - https://www.worcester-bosch.co.uk/professional/support/literature/search?q=HPC410.
2. How to configure the physical connection to the heat pump via the EVU contact for Smart Grid support?
2.1 Search for the EVU contact in Heat Pump
Please take a look at the example below.
2.2 Connect the EVU Contact to the Shelly
Take the wire from the EVU contact and connect it to the Shelly "I" (Input) contact, which came from the "L" power supply on Stiebel Eltron. From the "O" (Output) contact on Shelly, take the wire to the "EVU" contact "L'" on the Stiebel Eltron Heat pump.
2.3. Configure Shelly user interface
Now press the button on the Shelly UI to switch the I/O switch on or off. Check whether the EVU is active when normally closed or normally open. Stiebel Eltron has by default set this contact to always be closed to keep the CH operating. If it is unlocked, the EVU contact is activated. So this means that it is normally closed and this needs to be set accordingly in Shelly 3EM.
3. Add the device to Reduxi Configurator
First, you can log in to Reduxi Configurator using Reduxi Configurator via the browser.
1. Click Add Device
2. Enter Basic Settings
3. Select Communication Channel
4. Enter Device Configuration
5. Enter and choose Advance settings
4. Configure the correct strategy in Reduxi Configurator
Add the strategy in the Reduxi Controller (ON/OFF strategy), and define when this contact will be "open". You can determine that it will be open when it reaches the limit on the grid meter.
