The connection between Reduxi and GL Charge GlowBox can execute the DLM to protect installation.

2. Connect the GL Charge GlowBox to Reduxi with Modbus RTU
2.1 Physical connection between Reduxi controller and GL Charge GlowBox
For Modbus RTU physical connection needs to be established as displayed in the picture below:
For Modbus RTU, the first 4 out of 6 dip switches need to be set to OFF, 5 and 6 dip switches are used for defining slave addresses.
Example:
Dip switches (1,2,3,4) = OFF
Dip switches (5,6) = OFF and OFF--> address 1
3. Modbus RTU communication between the GL Charge Glowbox, and the Reduxi controller
3.1 Add device
First login to the local Reduxi configurator and add a new device by clicking the 'Add device' button.
3.2 Select the device that you would like to add
Within the first step select basic settings:
- Select Device type: EV charger,
- Select Type: GL Charge GlowBox Silver
- Name the device.
3.3 Device Configuration for Modbus RTU communication channel
Enter the required parameters as shown in the image below. The slave address may vary depending on the DIP switch settings, point 2.1
3.4 Test communication
To ensure that Modbus RTU communication is established, a communication test can be performed via the 'Test communication button' located bottom right after all Communication channel fields.

4. Readings from Device
This point aims to show how to check readings from the device. This is done under 'Device/Last measurement'.
Once the device is successfully added through the configurator, it can be monitored via the cloud application Reduxi.
