3 Connect the Reduxi Controller to the Nemo 96 HDLe
3.1 Connection overview
The picture shows the connection between the Reduxi Controller and the Nemo Power Analyzer. Route the Modbus connection from the terminals on the Reduxi Controller (Port 1 – A + B) to the RS485 port of the Nemo 96 HDLe (RS485 + and −). Connect port A to + and port B to −.

7 Check the readings
7.1 Last measurements
After you click Done, open the device in the Reduxi Configurator and check the values under Last measurements. Voltage, current and power must match the values on the meter display.
✓ Summary
Preparation (Points 1–2): Get the documentation. Prepare the Nemo 96 HDLe with RS485, the Reduxi Controller, the Modbus RS485 cable and a laptop or tablet.
Nemo 96 HDLe (Points 3–4): Connect Reduxi Port 1 (A to +, B to −) to the RS485 terminals of the meter. Set the same serial parameters on both devices.
Add to Reduxi (Points 5–6): Log in to the Reduxi web interface. Add the device as Energy meter type IME NEMO 96, enter the communication settings, run Test communication and click Done.
Go live (Point 7): Check the values under Last measurements.
→ Common issues
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| Test communication fails | Check the wiring: Reduxi port A to + and port B to − (see Point 3). Check that baud rate, parity and Modbus unit ID are the same on the meter and in Reduxi (see Point 4). |
| No RS485 on the meter | Only the variants MF96421 and MF96422 have the RS485 interface. |
| Open configurator does not open or stays empty | The tunnel is not active yet. Wait about 30 seconds and check that the controller is online. |
Login with admin is rejected |
The password was changed during installation. Ask the installer. The Reduxi account password does not work here. |
reduxi.local does not load |
Your device is not in the same network as the controller. Use the IP address or the tunnel connection. |
| Communication test fails, device shows offline | Check reachability, IP address / port / unit ID, and that the protocol is enabled on the device. |
