Integrate Easee chargers with Reduxi via Wi-Fi and the Easee platform, utilizing the OCPP protocol, achieving maximal flexibility and possible cost reductions of up to 30%

1. Easee Documentation
Easee App Google Play: Easee App Google
Easee App App Store: Easee App Apple
Find Pin and Charger ID: https://support.easee.com/hc/sv/articles/4413169889297-Hur-hittar-jag-laddarens-serienummer
2. Easee Connection Setup
For Reduxi to communicate with Easee chargers, two things are needed:
- Charger ID
- Charger PIN
This information can be found either through the Easee App or directly on the device itself.
2.1 Easee App
Log in to the Easee App and go to Charger Settings. The serial number is displayed on the About line. Tap the serial number for more information, including your charger's PIN code.
If your charger is not yet listed on the app, you can add it by following these steps:
press Products, then Add, and select Charging Robot.
Press the touch button on the charger for at least 5 seconds. This method will disconnect all users connected via Bluetooth. The LED light will turn blue and emit a short sound. If Bluetooth is already enabled, the LED light will turn white. If the LED light is green, you must update your charger's firmware.
When Bluetooth has been detected, a list of local chargers with Bluetooth will be displayed.
2.2 Find Info on Device or Manual
If your device is not yet added to your app, you can find the Serial number and PIN on the device itself or the physical device manual.
To find the serial number on the device itself, you can remove the front cover of your charger to access the Chargeberry. The serial number is located above the Type 2 connector.
The serial number and PIN code can be found on a sticker on the back of your manual. Your installer may also have placed this inside your fuse box door or directly on the charger.
3. Add Easee Device in Reduxi Configurator
3.1 Add Device
First, log in to the local Reduxi Configurator and add a new device by clicking the 'Add device' button.
3.2 Select Easee
Within the first step, basic settings are defined:
- Select Device type: EV charger
- Select Type: Easee
- Name the device according to the model
3.3 Configure Communication Settings
Here you should insert the Charger ID and the Charger Pin previously obtained from the Easee Portal, and click Done.
4. Test Communication
The next step is to test the communication. On the reduxi configurator
Go to: Devices and click on Easee device
Go to Details and Scroll All the way down on this page to find the Test Communication Button
Successful Readout:
Unsuccessful readout:
If the readout is unsuccessful, please make sure the correct Charger ID and Charger Pin have been inserted. If you encounter further issues, please contact our Reduxi Support Team.
5. Last Measurements
After successfully establishing communication with the newly added device, its values can be checked by going to Devices - Easee in the Reduxi configurator as an additional test.
For advanced charger control, integrate the device into the strategy of the Reduxi system. Under Devices/Easee or Home in the Reduxi configurator, the control type must be set to AUTO so commands for the strategy will affect the charger.
Important Note: The Response Time of the charger connected to Reduxi is 10 Seconds, and the writing limitation is 20 requests per minute through the API.
