Strict password policy
With this hardware version, we have made your Reduxi device more secure. Starting from June 2026, each device now has its own unique password — you will find it printed on the label on your device, or you can scan the QR code on it.
The controllers with the new password policy can be recognized by the new special Reduxi housing.
The devices already in the market will keep their default password policy. It only affect newly produced devices.
You will need this password in two situations:
- To connect to the device's Wi-Fi hotspot
- To log in to the device settings with admin account (cloud tunnel connection will remain as is)
If you are using our mobile app (version 4.3.1 or later), it will read the password automatically — no extra steps needed.
If your device label does not show a password, the password is simply: admin
