1. Preparing the Communication Cable
Use a standard network cable (RJ45).
Wire color layout (pinout):
- Pin 1: white–orange
- Pin 2: orange
- Pin 3: white–green
- Pin 4: blue
- Pin 5: white–blue
- Pin 6: green
- Pin 7: white–brown (RS485 A)
- Pin 8: brown (RS485 B)
2. Accessing the Connector
- On the ALL IN ONE device, open the protective cover (maintenance port)
3. RS485 Connection
- Connect the LAN (RJ45) port on the ALL IN ONE device to EMS module.
- Use the prepared network cable.
Note: On the picture is shown EMS module in our case we can connect it directly to Reduxi controller.
RS485 pinout:
- Pin 7 (white–brown): RS485 A
- Pin 8 (brown): RS485 B
4. DEBUG Switch Setting
- Next to the RJ45 port on the inverter, locate the “DEBUG” switch.
- Set the switch to position 2 (ON).
Note:
With default settings, RS485 communication should work without additional configuration when the DEBUG switch is set to 2 (ON).
5. Communication Parameters (RS485)
- Baud rate: 57600
- Data format:
- 1 start bit
- 8 data bits
- no parity
- 1 stop bit
6. Modbus-RTU Settings
- Communication address: 1–247 (default: 1)
- Supported functions: 03H, 04H, 10H
- Read‑only register range: 0–1500
- Read/write register range: 0–1000
7. Note – Troubleshooting
If communication does not work:
- Check the wiring (A/B lines)
- Check the DEBUG switch position
- Check communication parameters
8. Adding new device to Reduxi controller
To add a new device or to edit an existing one, follow the steps below.
