- Switch ON the inverter.
- Insert the dongle into the USB/COM port.
- Wait approximately 1–2 minutes.

The LED on the dongle should start blinking, confirming the dongle is active.
2. Local Connection to the Dongle (Wi‑Fi Method)
2.1 Connect to the Dongle Network
On your mobile device:
- Open Wi‑Fi settings.
- Connect to one of the following networks:
SUN2000-XXXXDongle-XXXX
Password location:
- On the dongle sticker, or
- On the inverter label
2.2 Access Through the App
- Open the FusionSolar application.
- Select “Commissioning” or “Local Access”.
2.3 Log In
Default login credentials:
- Username: installer
- Password: printed on the device label
3. Initial Configuration
3.1 Set Up Internet Access
Inside the FusionSolar app, choose the intended method of external communication.
Option A — Connect via Home Wi‑Fi
- Open Communication Settings.
- Select the home Wi‑Fi network.
- Enter the Wi‑Fi password
- Save the configuration.
Option B — Connect via 4G (SIM)
- Enter the APN provided by the mobile network operator.
- Enter Username/Password if required (usually left blank).
- Save the configuration.
3.2 Confirm Internet Connection
The communication status should show:
- Online
- Visible signal strength
4. Alternative Access via Web Browser
Instead of using the FusionSolar app:
- Connect to the dongle’s Wi‑Fi network.
- Open a web browser.
- Enter the address:
http://192.168.200.1 - Log in using the same installer credentials.
5. Available Functions After Connection
Once connected to the inverter through the dongle interface, the following options become available:
5.1 System Monitoring
- Real‑time power output (kW)
- Daily / monthly / annual production (kWh)
- Historical trends and graphs
5.2 System Status Overview
- Inverter operating status
- Faults and alarms
- Warning messages
5.3 Performance Optimization
- Detection of underperforming panels
- Identification of shading or module faults
5.4 Advanced Configuration
(Installer access required for certain parameters)
- Grid settings
- Export power limitation
- Battery parameters (if applicable)
5.5 Battery Management (if installed)
- Charge/discharge monitoring
- Operating modes:
- Self‑consumption
- Backup
- Time‑of‑Use
5.6 Remote Monitoring
Once online, the system becomes visible via the FusionSolar Cloud, enabling:
- Remote access from anywhere
- Push notifications in case of faults
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Dongle Wi‑Fi Network Not Visible
- Reinsert the dongle
- Restart the inverter
- Wait 2–3 minutes
6.2 Login Failed
- Verify password on device label
- Try default installer credentials
6.3 No Internet Connection
- Incorrect Wi‑Fi password
- Weak signal
- Incorrect APN (4G setup)
6.4 App Cannot Connect
- Disable mobile data while connected to dongle Wi‑Fi
7. Security Recommendations
- Change the default password after first login
- Do not share installer credentials
