The Reduxi product roadmap provides an overview of the areas we are currently developing and the capabilities we plan to introduce in the future.

Our goal is to give customers, partners, and integrators better visibility into the direction of Reduxi development while keeping the roadmap flexible enough to respond to changing market needs, new technologies, regulatory requirements, and customer feedback.

The roadmap focuses on major product areas and improvements rather than detailed features or fixed release dates. Priorities and timelines may change as development progresses.

We update this roadmap about once per month to reflect the latest product development priorities.

1. Now

This section contains features and improvements currently under active development or expected in upcoming releases.

• Day-Ahead price forecasting
  Generate day-ahead energy price forecasts for a reliable basis for planning and energy optimization for the following day and ahead.

• Forecast locking
  Allow users to lock a selected forecast so it remains unchanged and can be used as a fixed reference for planning, optimization, or later comparison with actual results.

• Alarms and notifications
  The alarm improvements brings additional alarms for non-connected controller, abnormal device behaviour and improved information for AI-related alarms. It also introduces alarm notifications for the aggregator accounts via real-time notification as well as daily summary.

• Energy communities, real-time visualization
  It will provide real-time visibility into energy import, and export across an energy community, giving users a clear overview of current energy flows and community performance.

• New controller user interface
  A new front-end application for the Reduxi Controller is being introduced, built on modern web technologies. It provides improved security, a clearer structure, and a cleaner, more intuitive user interface.
• AI-based HVAC control
  A new AI algorithm optimizes HVAC operation to maximize energy savings while maintaining user comfort. It continuously adjusts system operation based on current conditions, forecasts, and comfort requirements.

2. Next

This section contains areas that are planned and have relatively high priority, but the development is in early stages.

• Licensing
  Improved licensing management for Reduxi Controllers and AI methods will provide a clearer overview of enabled features and available functionality. The new approach will also simplify license activation and management across different installations and use cases
• Advanced user management
  More flexible user and access management with dedicated installer roles and permissions. Access rights can also be defined at group level, making it easier to manage larger installations and multiple users.
• Subscriptions
  Subscription-based services will enable access to advanced Reduxi features and cloud-based functionality. Users will be able to manage active subscriptions more easily and select services according to their needs.
• EVSE Scheduler
  A solution for managing EV charging parks by automatically optimizing charging schedules. It considers the planned arrival and departure times of all connected EVs to minimize energy costs while ensuring vehicles are charged when needed
• Reactive power control
  Reduxi will support active management of reactive power to improve power quality and optimize grid interaction. The functionality will enable compatible devices to adjust reactive power according to defined targets and grid requirements.

4. Recently released

The section contains short information about recently released larger features. 

• Alarms and notifications (live since Jul. 2026)
  New architecture of alarms providing additional alarms and more reliable service. Besides the existing functionality, it notifies users about the status of AI algorithms, or abnormal device behavior.
• AI EVSE (live since patch 21. Jul. 2026)
  Introduce AI-based EV charging optimization that considers available energy, user requirements, electricity prices, and other system conditions to determine the most suitable charging schedule.
• Audit log on controller (live since patch 21. Jul. 2026)
  Provide a record of important actions and configuration changes performed on the controller, making it easier to understand what changed, when it changed, and by whom.
• Device health check (live since patch 21. Jul. 2026)
  Automatically detect when a connected device is not responding as expected, for example when it does not follow the requested setpoint, and surface the issue to the user.
• Improved user experience for users and installers by providing documentation access from the controller directly (live since patch 21. Jul. 2026)
  In-app help links are now available when adding devices or configuring strategies, making setup easier. More help pages will be added over time.
• Reduxi security (controller) (live since Jun. 2026)
  Improve controller security with features such as a password-protected hotspot and dedicated administrator access, reducing the risk of unauthorized configuration changes. This also implements two factor authentications 2FA (on the controller only).
