1. Download and install Reduxi app on your mobile
2. Register new account in Reduxi app
After confirming your e-mail, log in to application.
3. Creating location and adding your device
Tap on Menu icon (top left) and choose Add location
Choose "Configure controller"
Enter name of location (use clear name, for example "Demo User home").
Select you country. Region and time zone will be selected automatically or you can choose them yourself.
Scan QR code on Controller.
App will connect to controller WiFi hotspot, confirm connection.
Select your Reduxi device (if more are offered, check S/N on device label)
Select network connection type.
If connecting to WiFi network, wait for app to finish scanning, then select correct WiFi network and enter password.
After connecting to WiFi or after selecting Ethernet you will be asked to choose whether you will use DHCP IP address assignment from your network router or static IP. We suggest setting up Reduxi device and all connected devices with static IP. If unsure how to set this up, please consult your routers' manual.
Select "Save configuration"
4. Enter you basic data about your electric grid connection:
- grid circuit breakers in A (this is the physical maximum you can draw from the grid without tripping circuit breakers)
- grid import and export limit in kW (these are limits you were assigned by your grid operator in you grid connection permit).
Tap Save and wait for configuration to be saved to your Controller and your cloud account..
Basic configuration is now finished. On next screen, you can go directly to adding your devices (PV, battery, EV charger ...) by tapping "Open configurator" or update controller firmware (if update is available).
You can also add devices later, by tapping Menu button (top left), then choosing "Reduxi devices" and tapping "Open configurator". In same menu, you can also check for firmware updates and perform them.
