Reduxi Configurator user manual
Everything you need to set up, operate and maintain a Reduxi Controller through its local web interface, the Configurator.
🚀 Getting started
🔌 Devices
Add a device
Add a meter, inverter, battery, EV charger or heat pump in two steps, test the connection and hand it to the energy manager.
Device measurements, charts and archive
Read a device's live values, plot its history and export the stored data as a CSV file.
Control type and manual setpoints
Decide whether the energy manager controls a device, or set its power or current by hand for tests and service work.
Device settings, edit and delete
Change a device's name, connection and advanced options such as read-only mode, power limits, SOC limits and phase mapping, or delete it.
⚡ Strategies
🧠 Energy manager
Optimization modes, goals and limits
Set the goal and the grid limits the Energy manager follows, decide how the battery, PV, EV chargers and heat pumps may be used, and add schedules and special modes.
Included items: what the strategy measures and controls
Tell the strategy which meters measure the grid connection and which devices it may control.
Strategy details: grid, EVSE, PV and HVAC
Set the fuses, the time windows, the control mode and the EV charger, PV and heat pump settings the Energy manager uses while it regulates.
Strategy measurements, charts and archive
See what the strategy measures and decides right now, follow it over time in charts, and export its history.
Schedules
Use different grid limits, goal and device settings on chosen days, months and times of day.
Negative price optimization
Stop exporting when selling does not pay, and use cheap energy when buying is free or paid.
AI energy manager
Let the Reduxi AI agent plan the battery, PV and EV charging from electricity prices.
Battery, EVSE and HVAC optimization
Shift battery use, EV charging and heat pump operation to cheaper hours, one device type at a time.
Voltage regulation and grid connection fallback
React to high grid voltage, and decide how the grid limits change when a device stops communicating.
⚙️ Settings
Utility rate plan (electricity prices)
Check the electricity prices the controller works with, and add or correct a price entry by hand.
Network settings
Check how the controller is connected and set up its Ethernet, Wi-Fi and mobile connections, DNS, proxy and failover.
Users, profile, password and two-factor login
Create a login for every person, change your own password and language, and protect logins with an authenticator app.
🔗 Connectors
Cloud connection
Connect the controller to the Reduxi Cloud for remote access, data upload, updates and AI schedules, or switch the connection off.
MQTT v3 connector
Publish live device and strategy data to your own MQTT broker and accept commands from it.
Flex connector
Link a strategy's flexibility to the Reduxi Flex platform or another flexibility provider, so an aggregator can activate it.
Modbus slave connector
Let a SCADA, plant controller or external EMS set the grid import limit, export limit and goal of a strategy over Modbus.
🖥️ System
Identifier and license
Look up the controller's identity, hardware and software versions, and how many devices its license allows.
Updating the controller software
Keep the controller software up to date automatically, or install a new version from the Reduxi Cloud or from a file.
Backup and restore
Save the controller configuration to a file, and load a saved configuration back onto the controller.
Reboot and factory reset
Restart the controller, or erase it completely and return it to its factory state.
🩺 Diagnostics
Network tools: ping, port test, address scanner
Test from the controller itself whether a device or server is reachable, and find devices on the local network.
Audit log
See who changed what on the controller and when — logins, settings, devices, strategies and system events.
Health check
See the problems the controller has detected with devices, control and itself, and what to do about each one.
